• Derrick - I have had this bass for 3 years now and it still plays like the day I got it. it has a great hard rock sound to it and the only thing I did was switch the pick ups to 3800X B rogues its by far the best bass for beginners or even the best bass players. It never had a problem
   
• Cemetery_Shadow  - Well, about two years ago my friend had recieved this bass, and when I first saw and played it, I was pleasently surprised. After that period the bass is still going strong. The only thing it doesnt have is the features...Just a volume, and tone nob...and the pickups arent the best but still give out a good tone. By all means, if your a beginner and want to get a bass that will last a while get this. But if your an advanced player i dont see the sence in getting it. Good overall cheap bass.
   
• Yeadbanger - I am an electric guitar player. My two friends and I started a band together. My friend has this same exact bass which he bought from musiciansfreind.com. It was his first bass ever, and he let me play it. As I said, I play the guitar, but I do like to play the bass a little bit, too. This bass had a nice feel to it. It felt solid, and it's sound was pretty good. There was a lot of fret buzz, but I think that's because I don't know how to properly play the bass, and I was hitting the strings too hard. I gave the features an 8, because I wish that the bass had more knobs for better tone control, but don't get me wrong, it still sounds good. The quality was very nice and worthy of a 10, because I personally know that my friend who owns this bass is a little rough with his instruments, and after a couple of years, his bass is still in good shape. This is a great bass for beginners and intermediates or if you just like to mess around, like me. You know, where else can you get a bass guitar this cheap ?
