bass is a joy to play. The construction and feel of the instrument is
pleasing, from top to bottom. The sound is mellow, but full. Out of the
box I found a little more buzz than I like, but with a little adjustment
it plays smooth as butter.
- Joef - This is a great bass for the price. It looks
and sounds just as good as other costing more. I have been playing bass
for over 20 years and play Fender Jazz basses. I was a little scared of
buying this bass thinking it would not sound good and be cheap quality. I
was suprised great for playing around the house. I have not tried playing
through my amp yet, didn't want it for that anyways. You can't go wrong

this deal. Not anywhere. I love Dean for doing what they do. This isn't
the best acoustic bass guitar but holy crap it's freakin good for what it
is and especially for the price. It's the only acoustic electric bass I
plan on having, playing live, and recording with for a long time. It's
plenty good enough. The electric pickups aren't that great... at least not
with my equipment, maybe it could be tweaked to run better. But it's well
worth the money. I am completely impressed and would definitely recommend
it.
